cellular phone will not work (Yes, we have those areas right
here in the Metro area) I find my laptop computer with Virtual
Office to be an invaluable tool. Prior to taking clients, I
make certain that I have updated my database for the area that
we will be in; then, as we are driving around a client sees a
'For Sale' sign, I can just pull that property up on the
computer (no modem connection necessary, its all in my

Software has been on my computers since 1990. This marvelous
program has grown from a useful extension of the MLS to a
fully integrated real estate suite. The software, now titled
Virtual Office, is a true work horse application. Everything I
do relating to real estate involves Virtual Office.
The critical task
Virtual Office performs daily is to have the MLS data base at
my fingertips and fully updated, wherever I travel. The
searches are quick and intuitive when looking for special
properties. The "Quick Find" feature makes me look
really good when I am able to immediately pull up all of the
information for a property from a street number, street name,
or a listing number.
Virtual Office is
the best research and planning tool I have ever used. It is
also the best interactive software for use with a client. My
clients tell their friends that they should sit down with Ken
Crosby and his computer for about 20 minutes and they will
know all there is to know about real estate in their area.

pulls in a lot of requests from serious buyers. These buyers
tend to send requests to several Realtors with web sites. The
information I send to these buyers is directly from Virtual
Office. These printouts have excellent color pictures and are
loaded with valuable information. Once received, the other
Realtors are no longer relevant.
CMA's and other
statistical market data is quick and easy to produce. The
Reports section coupled with the custom arrangements of the
data enable me to produce user-friendly output that even I can
understand.

Virtual Office, we as Realtors had a book and a computer link
with Metrolist. We thought we had it all! Then we heard about
something called "Virtual Office". It was something
we would have to some time learning and was initially not well
accepted in the Real Estate Community, why?, because it was
new! I personally wanted an edge on my business and decided to
get into the program and give it my best shot.The time and
effort I spent has more than paid off for me.
