Microsoft Streets & Trips 2003 is available from most software retailers between $30- $40. Retailers like Costco, Sam’s Club many times have mail-in rebates attached to the software. You can download the latest version of Virtual Office with the FREE mapping interface from our Web Site at: www.hillsoft.com. The Streets & Trips 2003 interface is supported in both Virtual Office DESKTOP and WEBSERVER products.
STEP 1.)
Insert your Microsoft Streets & Trips 2003 Setup CD into your computers CD
ROM drive and close the drawer. The
Setup will start.
STEP
2.) Click the Next > button
to install.
STEP
3.) Enter your name.
STEP
4.) Select Full Installation
and click the Next > button.
STEP
5.) Select the default location and
click the Next > button.
STEP
6.) Click the Install button
to install.
STEP
7.) The files will be installed.
STEP
8.) When prompted insert the
Microsoft Streets & Trips 2003 Run CD.
STEP
9.) When the install is finished,
click Finish.
STEP
10.) Establish a connection to the
Internet, and start Virtual Office Webserver. On the menu on the left side of
the screen click Setup. Click the System Info tab at the bottom of
the Setup Screen.
STEP 11.)
Click Use Microsoft Streets & Trips, click the blue Accept Changes
icon, and click Done.
For Streets & Trips 2003, the target should read c:\program files\microsoft streets and trips\streets.exe The “&” must be changed to “and” for the 2003 version.
STEP
12.) On the menu on the left side of
the screen click List View. On the List View toolbar click the Map icon.
STEP
13.) The mapping instructions will be
displayed, click OK and Microsoft Streets & Trips 2002 will start.
STEP
15.) On the toolbar on the top of the
screen click Data and click Import Data Wizard.
STEP
17.) Select Comma and click
the Next > button..
STEP
18.) Select First row contains
column headings and click the Finish button. The properties in List
View are displayed on the map as push pins.

STEP 19.) To change the Pushpins to a different symbol/color right mouse click on VOMAP under the state map. Click on Properties. Click on the drop down menu next to the black pushpin symbol.

To plot your route, click Route
and click Route Planner.
STEP
20.) Double click a property in the
map and click the Add to Route button.
STEP
21.) Double click the next property
in the map and click the Add to Route button.
STEP
22.) Double click the last property
in the map and click the Add to Route button.
STEP
23.) Click the Get Directions button.
The directions are displayed on the top of the screen and the route is plotted on the map.
